JOB OFFER: System Manager

The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne is looking for a System 
Manager
for the Information Theory Laboratory and Communications Theory Laboratory 
who will
be responsible for:

- the management and expansion of a computer infrastructure,
- the management (installation, configuration, security
  monitoring  and patch maintenance) of:
         -  Linux Servers: NFS/NIS,   WWW (Apache/PHP), CVS, 
            Samba, MySQL, Sendmail, Legato Networker, DHCP, Cups
         - a Network Applicance
         - 40+ Desktops/laptops, mostly Linux
         - an OpenMosix cluster
- the management of the computer budget and the purchase of    
  equipment
- user support, very diverse in nature.

Your qualifications:
·	computing science or other science degree, and
        experience with administering Linux-based systems
·	strong web skills
·	dynamic, flexible, with excellent problem-solving skills
·	a good command of English
·	a proven track record in Open Source technologies is 
        considered a plus.
